An autocratic leader’s decisions are not driven by “instincts”, “turmoil”, “anger” or “ertainment”. An autocratic leader is able to make sound decisions with the information available to them.
A participative leader approaches decisions from the perspective of their team members rather than their own needs. They believe that a company must continually analyze its data so that it can make effective decisions for its future. They are also skilled at involving their team members in the decision making process. A participative leader is also capable of influencing and changing the attitudes, behaviors, decision making process, and feelings of their team members when it is necessary. These characteristics are necessary for an effective management style.
A participative manager is very skilled at motivating their team members to achieve the company’s goals. Each member of the team has different leadership styles, and knowing how each of these styles is related to the ultimate goals of the company can help a manager determine how to best motivate his/her team. An effective motivator is one who knows when to use words, body language, and physical tools to get results. It is important for managers to understand which style they should be using in certain situations.
A problem solving leader is focused on finding solutions to problems instead of achieving perfection. They do not set goals but rather work toward achieving the vision or mission of the organization. These leaders know how to identify the problems and how to find the right answer. These leaders don’t just say “I will” but work actively towards their goals by using all available resources. This type of leadership is ideal for a company that has a lot of unique activities and is always looking for new ways to accomplish its missions and goals.
Autocratic leaders make decisions without first asking the questions needed to answer them. They often make a decision and then ask their followers or subordinates to make the same ones. Autocratic leaders can be intimidating to their followers or subordinates, however this does not mean that they do not care about what they are doing. After determining that an individual is capable of being an effective leader, they will work to help them develop skills and traits that will help them become an effective leader in the future.
A transformational leadership style focuses on the development of an individual’s personal strengths and weaknesses. It looks at each individual’s strengths and weaknesses and tries to improve upon those weaknesses. A transformational leader is very strict with their standards because they know that the best leaders have the strongest belief in their mission and vision. In addition, they also expect their followers or team to look after themselves because they realize that they are all part of one big team. A transformational leader will often get others to agree with their goals and to work harder than most managers would.
A managerial style focuses on providing positive reinforcement to team members who are making the right decisions and achieving the goals. They usually use carrots and sticks to keep their team members accountable for their actions.
